  Rehana Maryam Noor  is the  first-ever film from Bangladesh in the Cannes official selection.  The film is about a single mother who is a n assistant professor at a local medical college, finds herself in a difficult position after witnessing a sexual assault where she knows both the victim and the perpetrator.
